Congregational Life

The Congregational Life Ministry Team shall foster the relational health of the congregation through events and activities that minister to the interests, the needs and fun of its members.

During this time of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have had to adjust how we gather as a congregation and to think about new ways to be connected. From the Michael Eagan Spirit Force group who calls all of our congregation just to check in, to Book Groups along with Faith Formation, to zoom parties, game night, and fellowship opportunities with anyone after worship on Sunday & Wednesday evenings. Also, 2nd Thursday of the month for Fellowship & Ministry.

Ainsworth UCC is a WISE (welcoming, inclusive, supportive and engaged for mental health) congregation. We have an active WISE working group that organizes events, educates, and seeks to find ways to support our congregation’s mental health. There is a variety of resources provided by our mental health ministry that can be accessed. (Download Now)

The Care Team is made up of trained volunteers who provide assistance in pastoral care. During quarantine, in person visits are not held. In addition, the Michael Eagan Spirit Force is a group of volunteers who call every person connected to Ainsworth UCC to check in and see how they are. Both groups work with Pastor Lynne and keep her informed.
